About Us

The Resume Lounge is a grassroots outreach project working to deliver valuable resume education needed to uplift and advance job seekers in the community.

Our Mission

The Resume Lounge is committed to pooling together the resources necessary to help individuals with their resumes during this difficult phase in our nation’s history.  We work in collaboration with employers, recruiters, and community organizations to create and implement resume education that improves the chances of securing employment.

Initiatives

Careers & Coffee: A series of laid back networking events held over a cup of coffee and designed to address the concerns of job seekers desiring career advancement.

Resumes to Uplift: This is a community resume review event that pulls from recruiters and HR professionals at companies in the community to give direction on resumes and the hiring cycle.

Resume Academy:  We want to get young adults entering college and the job market a great start.  This ‘camp’ is designed to help youths between the ages of 16-22 create a competitive resume, prepare for their careers, and introduce them early on to the best practices that will keep them on the track of success.
